The goal in creating this website is quite simple: to
improve communication between the young men, their parents, and the leaders who
are working with them. Ideally we would
like to see every young man earn his Eagle Scout Award. In my experience I have found that the more the
parents are involved and informed, the more likely the young man is to earn
this award. On this site you will see
quotes from our current and a couple of previous prophets, expressing some of their
beliefs relating to the importance of scouting.
I personally have a testimony of the role that scouting can play in a
young man’s life because I know what it has done for me, and I have seen it
change young men when they catch the vision.
Now as to what you can expect from this site. On this site you will see the most up to date
information that I can give in relation to what is planned for the young
men. When campouts are scheduled, you
will see them posted here. When courts
of honor are scheduled, you will see them posted here. Information relating to summer camp will be
posted here. Merit badge clinic
information will be posted here. At the
bottom of this web page you will find a calendar with events and dates on
