There will be no scouts this week on Halloween.
Next week will be busy. Scouts will be at its usual time on Wednesday. On Thursday, those who did the American Heritage Merit Badge during Constitution Week will need to meet at Brother Raymond's home at 6:30 to complete pass off the badge. On Friday we will be going camping. For further details please join us at scouts on Wednesday, November 7th.
One last announcement, we will be having a Court of Honor on November 18th.
The purpose of this blog is to provide the young men of Boy Scout Troop 819, and their parents or guardians, with a simple way of obtaining information relating to the comings and goings of our troop.
"Scouting brings out the best in each of us. Live what you've learned and will continue to learn. Help others to hike the trails, to keep steadfast in the paths of truth, of honor, of duty, that all of you can soar together on eagles' wings. You are part of a mighty army of youth, even a royal army, and every organization, to be successful, has an honored tradition to uphold. May you uphold Scouting's tradition, for it can be as a lighthouse beacon in the world of stormy seas, it can be a motivation to prepare for your role in life, it can be a yardstick against which you measure your accomplishments." ~President Thomas S. Monson--2010
