"Scouting brings out the best in each of us. Live what you've learned and will continue to learn. Help others to hike the trails, to keep steadfast in the paths of truth, of honor, of duty, that all of you can soar together on eagles' wings. You are part of a mighty army of youth, even a royal army, and every organization, to be successful, has an honored tradition to uphold. May you uphold Scouting's tradition, for it can be as a lighthouse beacon in the world of stormy seas, it can be a motivation to prepare for your role in life, it can be a yardstick against which you measure your accomplishments." ~President Thomas S. Monson--2010

Calls for the Fourth of July Flag Ceremony

We have changed the time and meeting place for flags on the fourth of July.  We will now be meeting at Brother Heaton's home at 5:30.  We had to do this because we didn't have enough people show up to our flag ceremony prep meeting today.  For those who missed that meeting, here are the calls for the ceremony:

Will the audience please rise!
Scouts in Uniform form ranks!
Color Guard attention!
Color Guard forward march!
Halt!
Color Guard, release the halyard!
Color Guard, prepare the colors!
Color Guard, present the colors!
Scout Salute! Those not in uniforms please place your hand over your heart.
Raise the flag of the United States of America!
Color Guard, secure the halyard!
Color Guard, honor your colors!
Will the audience please repeat the pledge of allegiance with me!
Two!
Color Guard Reassemble!
Color Guard forward march!
The audience may be seated!
