Water—2-3 liters
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner –snacks if desired
Backpack (all of your gear must be attached to this)
To stay warm you must dress in layers.
Scout Uniform (You
will be wearing this during travel, flag raising, and activities)
Hiking shoes (comfortable and worn in)
Tent and ground cloth (know who you will be bunking with)
Sleeping gear (bag/mat…)
Garbage bag or lightweight raincoat
First aid kit and any medications that you may need
(inhalers, insulin…)
Utensils/dishes for meals (mess kit)
Flashlight
Pocket knife, compass, and whistle
Toiletries (TP, soap, deodorant, tooth paste/brush, sun
block…)
Don’t forget to leave
your electronic devices AT HOME
Goal—Work on rank advancement skills and have a good time
The skills we will be
working on will be used in an upcoming troop patrol competition—the spoils will
go to the winners! Please arrive in
Uniform for traveling purposes. You will
need to prepare well so that you can stay warm.
The high temperature will likely be in the 60’s, and it could get down
as low as 45 degrees at night, so pack accordingly.
